Once you have purchased you skis through our on-line shop, we will send you an email (usually the same day) asking whether you would like the bindings mounted or sent un-attached.
Alternatively you could put your choice in the area that allows you to "Add Comments About Your Order" as you purchase the skis.
If you choose to have the bindings attached we will then email you again asking for some more information to enable us to set a safe binding DIN setting. So please check your emails. If not requested and if we haven't heard back from you within a day, bindings will be sent with the skis, but not mounted.
Please read the following information:
Mounting with boot
We will mount your bindings for you by agreement with our technician, either if you are able to send a ski boot to us, or we have in stock an identical ski boot to yours (make, model and size). We will also require other information to ensure a safe binding setting, this includes, height, weight, ski-ability and age.
Mounting without boot
Due to safety reasons, we do not like to mount bindings without your ski boot (or an identical one). However we will be willing to do this on the boot length alone, if you agree to then take the skis to a technician either in resort or locally to check the binding tension setting. They should carry out this simple safety check free of charge.
The boot length measurement is not the boot size – but is a millimetre length size that can usually be found near the heel or underfoot.
If you would like more information about our binding mounting policy please email us - click here with your query.
Order cancellation
If you have requested that we mount the bindings for you, because we have had to modify the product you will not have the normal 7 day cancellation / 14 day no-questions returns period that we offer for goods in new condition.
The same would also apply once you have had the bindings mounted by someone else as this is also modifying the product. Of course this doesn't effect your Statuatory rights - if goods were found to be faulty etc etc.
